Now lets talk about something else. How about why I hate Christianity? Yea, that sounds like a good one. Here's a topic that will probably have to get it's own page. But any ways, lets start with this. Christianity has the worst history imaginable for a religion that preaches that there god loves every one. Umm, lets take a look at one of the dumbest things the church practised, the castration of choirboys. This was a custom practised mostly in Italy, if a boy was a really good singer they would get him high on opium, and cut his balls off while he's passed out. Yes, the same opium they make heroine with, they had it then to. But the castration was done before the boy reached puberty, this way his voice wouldn't "crack" and start becoming deep. But why would you do this? So that way the guy would be able to sing all the same notes that a woman could hit, but belt them out with the same power of a man. And this was done so people could sing gods praise and make it sound even better. To me its a pretty fucking stupid custom that deprived many men the ability to bring fucked up families into the world.
Well that probably sounded pretty bad, didn't it? Well in England in Shakespeare's time the church and a really fucked up theory. It went like this "Idle hands do the devils work." This was mostly pointed at masturbation, because back then it was considered to be an evil practice that was inspired by Satan. Well what did the parents do to prevent their children from discovering masturbation? Well if they couldn't think of any thing for their kids to do they were usually beaten and/or locked in a cupboard with their hands tied up behind their backs. This way they'd have lots of time to beg god for forgiveness for sins that they don't know how to commit. Wow, what an amazing society England had. At least I didn't live then, I'd have probably been executed for masturbation.
Well that was another fucked up concept of that religion. There's better stuff that happens. If you don't know any thing about the basics of catholic or Jewish religious history read this. For the most part Catholics believe the Adam and Eve story. And if they believe that then they would have to believe Abraham was the person who received gods covenant. And if you go though the families of Jews, the twelve tribes of the Jews all have one common ancestor, it's Abraham. And if you read the very first chapter of the bible it tells you how Jesus is related to David. Yes, the David and Goliath David. And guess what, David's ancestor is Abraham! What the fuck doses this all mean? It means that Christians are Jews! If you boil every thing down, it comes down to the same thing, they worship the same god if you break down the two religions far enough. In fact Muslims believe in the same god! So you know what that means? The Jews and Muslims are famous for fighting over who worships the real god, well you fucking numb skulls you worship the same fucking empty god! To make things better Catholics hated Jews a lot in history.
The Spanish had an extremely fucked up idea regarding the Jews. They saw the Jews as the reason why they were having all kinds of problems with their economy and things like that. Sounds familiar to you? Someone in central Europe did that in the 40's? If you're a fucking idiot and haven't figured it out then I'll tell you Hitler and his Nazis did that. But the Spanish never tried to deliberately exterminate the Jews. They saw then as heathens and forced them to convert to Catholicism. Well it went smoothly, they Jews were mostly happy to go and join this religion to save them selves from being executed and having their bodies put on display to rot in the Town Square. Well since they were pretty much all-official Catholics, they wouldn't need their synagogues any more. I'm not sure what they did to them, They may have burned them down, or they may have converted them to churches, I'm sure the Spanish didn't leave them alone. But since they were Catholic's, they weren't allowed to worship like Jews. If they were found worshipping like Jews they would be called heathens, and they would be killed, and displayed in the Town Square. Well the Spanish never gave the Jews catechism lessons, so they never learned how to day the catholic prayers, and they never learned how to worship as Catholics. Well lots of Jews were killed for pretty much no reason at all. And that meant lots of stinking, mutilated bodies hanging around to show the people what Spain thought of people who worshiped the same God differently. Well I think that they intended to use that as an excuse to slaughter the Jews. In case you're wondering what that was called it was the Spanish Inquisition, Just another fuck up so big that only catholics could have done it. |
