The toolbox contains the necessary commands to place objects on the map, draw backgrounds and obstacles.
Figure 1 - Toolbox
The toolbox works with the Texture Palette to draw the map background. The Texture Palette displays an external bitmap containing all background elements you need. Selected elements are highlighted.

Maker)
The toolbox typically displays these commands:
To place units, select a generic unit or a template, and point to the location
where you want to create the unit.
The toolbox then returns in Pointer mode to allow you to move the unit you
created. To draw additional units, repeat the procedure.
To draw backgrounds or walls, select the appropriate item in the toolbox, and point the location on the map where you want to set the background or wall. Select the Pointer command when finished.
To select textures, open the Texture Palette and point the graphics portions
you want to draw.
Large texture areas can be selected and drawn the map.
Images in the Texture Palette are defined in the Map property pages, under the
Textures category. Only one file can be use at a time. Look at your favorite
game and import your textures from it (I cannot redistribute or incorporate in
QB Damage Points any bitmaps that are not mine).
Note: While the map is running, backgrounds and walls cannot be changed, and the corresponding commands will not be available. Only units can be added while map is running. Any unit added at run-time will be removed when the map is reset.
