Our own exclusive interview with Keegan de Lancie!

TQC: What do you like most about acting?

KDL: Getting to do things I'd never try in real life is pretty fun, but for the most part I like discovering things and trying new things in the moment. I'm much more into Improvisation and comedy than acting, so I really like coming up with new stuff every time I do a scene.

TQC: What do you like to do in your free time?

KDL: I enjoy mountain biking (when I can), and I like all kinds of video games. Actually, some of the games from the really old Nintendo's are great, just cause they're so mindless. Hanging out with friends, going to parties or Universal Citywalk, Old Town, Melrose, Venice (all places in LA, for those who don't know). Just kickin it wherever with anybody who'll stand my company. J

TQC: Of all the places you've traveled, which one did you like best, and why?

KDL: Oh boy. I love Holland, that's just a great place. Really liberal country, beautiful people (I will one day go there to find my wife), and just generally a fun feeling for a young person like me. Turkey is also a really cool country, just cause it's exotic without feeling dangerous. Italy and France are great, too. Mexico's fun cause it's always a little wild and hectic. Can't leave out England or Australia, just cause it's so similar to American culture, and yet so wildly different (I swear we don't speak the same language).

TQC: You're starting school again soon - what are most looking forward to there? Are you on any committees, teams, clubs?

KDL: Looking forward to school? Lol, that's hilarious. I mean, my school's great, but its still school! I guess being an upperclassman will be pretty cool, but other than that I'd much rather stay in summer. As for clubs and committees, that's really not my thing. I leave that stuff to people with organizational skills. I'll do whatever I'm interested in, but I tend to stay away from clubs and organizations.

TQC: Will you be having any appearances in the near future? If so, where and when?

KDL: I'll be performing stand-up comedy with some of my friends at a coffee house in Pasadena on the 9th of September. If anybody lives in the area, COME SUPPORT LOCAL COMEDY! Other than that, I have no control over where I appear next. I'm just going to school for now, and if somebody wants to hire me and put me on TV, then that's great. I'm going out for auditions, but not as much as people who really devote themselves to it. As I said, I'm a student first.

TQC: How is it having Q as a father? ; )

KDL: I could tell you, but that'd ruin the mystery . . . Muahahahaha

TQC: Anything else you want to tell the fans:

KDL: Uh...Sure. I'm not really sure why anybody's a fan of me. I'm a pretty normal guy (actually, I'm really strange, but that's only if I let myself go.) All my friends think it's hilarious that people want to meet me and stuff, and so do I. I'm a normal kid! Take some guy you know from work or school, and put them on TV. You know this guy as who he was before, and you'd still always think of him in that way. My acting has nothing to do with my daily life, except my friends tease me sometimes when I get recognized. But other than that, it rarely makes any difference. Still, I'm flattered that somebody would make a site for me, and equally flattered that people would visit it. Thank you all very much for your support of me!
