GM CANNON
1/144th scale Bandai

The GM Cannon was developed as a medium-range support MS during the One Year War. Originally an offshoot of the Guncannon project, the GMC took a turn away from the Project V suit when it was discovered that the GM's light frame couldn't take the abuse of the dual cannons' heavy recoil. The GMC was redesigned to use a single long-range shell firing gun, and outfitted with heavy armor and shock absorption equipment. The Cannon was put into a limited production of approximately 40 units, which were scattered across the globe during the final months of the EFF's counter offensive, mostly seeing use in the North American and Australian campaigns.

Another MSV/HGUC kitbash. My goal for this one was to reproduce one of the GM Cannons used by the Australian White Dingos MS team, from the Dreamcast video game "Rise From the Ashes". Besides the MSV and HGUC parts, there are also parts from a GM[g] and First Grade Gundam used. I printed up the decals on my ALPS printer, using some original art and the White Dingo logo from Tim at Child of Mecha. The colors are custom mixes from Tamiya acrylics weathered with black and red-brown artists oils.
