Victory Gundam Hexa-Dash

The Victory Hexa-Dash is an upgraded form of the original Victory Gundam. The Hexa upgrade provides a new head unit with enhanced sensor and control packages, where the Dash overhang pack provides a pair of beam cannons and extra thruster power.


This is a cool little kit. It has much better proportions than the 1/100 version of the Victory, and has very good part fit. It comes equipped with the much-maligned MS Frame technology, which is basically an internal skeleton made from polycap material. This frame does seem to wear down rather easily, but I didn't bother to rejoint it. For once, I'm trying to build a 1/144 straight out of the box. :) The little v-shaped stand also came with the model, which is a nice touch.

Status: The main airbrushing of the MS is complete. The MS' head is painted, and washes applied. I need to touch up a couple of color details on the head, like the red spot in front. I've delayed work on this a bit, as I ordered the V-Gundam weapon set. Since it comes with closed fists, extra hardpoint pistols, stickers, and such, I'll finish the kit up then.
