Electrical Technology will provide students the opportunities to work with hand-tools, motors, generators, controllers, transformers, and alarm systems. Included in the program will be wiring methods, common shop practices, the study of circuits, hardware, measurement, the Electrical Codes, and the developments of skills in basic circuit fabrication and testing. Hours earned for successful completion apply to the Massachusetts State licensure requirements. Selected students in good standing will be considered for the Cooperative Education Program. These courses will allow students to seek employment or apply for entry into higher educational programs.
