| Mercury - closest to the sun Mercury was a strange world compare to the earth. you would only weigh 38% of what you weigh in the earth. It's a less massive planet. A planet day in mercury was 59 earth days, because mercury spin very slow. Its period of revolution was 88 earth days or 1.5 mercurian days. |

| In the solar system, human beings divide the 7 planets into two groups. The Terrestrial planets and the Gas giants. Mercury was in the Terrestrial planets group or the inner planets. Planets that were make out of dust and rocky were been sort into this group. The four inner planest were all small massive planets, and mercury was the smallest planet in the group. Also it's the second smallest planet in the solar system. |

| The shape and size of mercury are very simlar to our moon's, and even its surface looks like the our moon's surface. How ever, it doesn't have any moon orbit around it. Its distance from the sun was 0.39 AU. Took 3.2 light minutes from the sun to mercury |
