Do you
believe that the psychiatrists may sometimes get it wrong? For so it seems to
me,
I am
just an observer who listens and who endeavours to do so intelligently.
To see
the pain and suffering that’s endured, to say nothing of the fee,
For I am
not a transsexual and do not profess that I will ever be.
I would
not deny the fact that at times the thought may have certain appeal,
When you
are living in the present moment though you’ll know exactly what is real.
So
instead of asking questions like “Are you gay or sexually inclined”,
The
psychiatrists should concentrate upon what is happening within your mind.
Does the
candidate for SRS understand and really know their own true self?
Have
they done their research and know that their body belongs to someone else?
And if
that is the situation then I am inclined to think that they might just find,
That to
delay and hold up the changeling’s progress would be neither fair nor kind.
One can
understand that they have to be sure that the candidate understands,
What
will happen to their mind and body and is that what they had really planned.
Sure
they have to be certain in their findings, I’ll not deny that that is true,
On the
other hand they must understand the consequence of what their actions do.
To
deliberate unnecessarily is neither proper nor do I consider that is it fair,
Unless
they truly understand transsexuality why deny or keep them waiting for yet
another year?
They
must be true to their profession and to the deliberation that they are expected
to make,
If you
don’t understand the changeling’s vision and true feelings, you may make a huge
mistake!
