Perfect health physically as the Great Creator formed us is often too rare, and is a great blessing.
Perfect health spiritually as God intends and creates in us is of untold value.
It can be perfect in a sense, but it must also be peaceable, it must not be presumptuous, must not be selfish, its reliance must be in faith in the power of God, experiencing this in the attitude, "Be still and know that I am God, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord." [Psalm 46:10.]
God is waiting to use instruments to forward His kingdom, but He would have them swallowed up in Himself.
Am I simply writing my views, that could not pass, ought I not to be able to say in humility, "Thus saith the Lord." But this must come out of a pure heart.
God is all powerful and we are His most noble creation, through whom He would speak, act for the help of others to whom He has appeared as well as unto us.
Impressive is the charge to His disciples, his wavering followers, "Judge not that ye be not judged." [Matthew 7:7, Luke 6:37.]
Shall we too say with poor Nicodemas, "How can this be?" [John 3:4.]
When one comes fully into the love of Christ as His disciples did at Pentacost they do not Judge, but He judges for them.
It is so pleasant to judge, it is no wonder the Blessed Son of God gave this charge, He wanted them to learn what love was, what emptiness is that they could be filled with himself, with truly an annointed ear, and enlightened understanding which looks inward rather than outward, and the blessed gathering Spirit.
There was much contention in Heaven, that blessed pure place, between Michal and his angels, and that Arch angel and his angels, but it wouldn't do to be divided and so Satan and his had to be cast out, so he is at enmity with God and Christ and all who strive to be pure, let us remember this always.
God's disciples must be one, but they won't have a selected few, they leave all that to the Saviour, and with a single eye to Him they find a blessed pathway which He trod unto death and in which His creature man as they follow Him will meet death to self, that Arch enemy to the souls salvation.
Beloved brothers and sisters, the constraining love of Christ fills my heart to say now further, we want Christ to be King, we want God to judge, us especially. He won't hurt anything that is worthy of life, whose word still is to us, "Follow thou me."
If we are truly following Him, He will take the responsibility and not even require us to tell any what we are, for they will know it. He will show them, for "The Grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men." etc. [Titus 2:11-14.]
"That which cometh out of a man, that defileth a man." [Matthew 15:11.]
Divisions and rents are not of Christ, but were in mens' hearts and these, coming out defiled, hurt and destroyed.
The peaceable spirit will build up, but this begins at home but does not end there.
Beloved, "The pure in heart shall see God." [Matthew 5:8.]
It springs up as very appropriate to say, "See to thine own house David," [1 Kings 12:16] and we should be very glad to have His help so to do, and who will help us so to order that His pure spirit will more and more obtain full possession.
With love your friend,
1. 1. 2 Samuel 20:9.
