Before the real Trowa Barton was assasinated, this boy referred himself as "Nanashi", which means "No Name". Trowa's parents were killed during war when he was still at a young age, causing him not knowing his own identity. However, he was soon picked up by a mercenary group. From what have been said, he was tortured and abused in some kind of way in the mercernary. As the torture and abuse got to him over the years, Trowa learned not to feel pain. He would never give the men the satisfaction they need for hurting him. He had build a wall and hid every single bit of emotion he had, thinking this would save him. At 10 Trowa met a girl name Midii Une and brought her with him to the mercenary. They soon became friends quickly because Trowa thinks she is the same as him. However the girl betrayed him and turned against him, as a result his mercenary group was ruined.
At the age of 12 he was already a perfect assasin but then ran away around the age of 13 and joined a new mercenary group. Afterwards he made his way to space and ended up working as a mechanic in the Barton Foundation. It was there where he met the real Trowa Barton and later on took his identity to carry on Operation Meteor.
At last, Trowa joined the circus during Operation Meteor trying to hide himself. In the circus he met a girl name Catherine Bloom which is in fact to be Trowa's biological sister. But neither of them knows that. Catherine gave the love and caring what a sister would give to Trowa, and the circus eventually became the home of Trowa....

Trowa also has a strange sense of humor. One time in the series when he laught out loud with appreciation that he finds out Heero's comment was somewhat funny. Heero mentioned it hurt so much when he self destructed the Wing.
Past: The boy known as Trowa Barton above, however, is not his real identity. The real Trowa Barton was assinated (as shown in Endless Waltz). We believe that Trowa's real name is Triton Bloom. To the fact,Trowa's history and background are unknown, therefore information about him are estimated.
