Basic Drawing Final Project

This was my final drawing for the class. It took several weeks and some luck with the weather to make this. I selected a group of three trees with pink flowers near the school's library as my theme. I used several pencils, all in the B (or was it H?) range to draw it. Had to judge the size and shape of everything, and wait for Mr. Sun and his friends The Clouds to cooperate so I could get everything how I wanted it. I tend to do my drawings lighter than I think I do, because while I'm drawing, I'm very close to the picture and think they're rather dark.
There are the three trees in the foreground of the picture. Behind them to the left is the former Amos Eaton Hall, home of the Computer Science and Math departments at RPI. To the right is the former Green Building, home of the spooky architects. The rest is the ground and pathways surrounding the area. (I say "former" names because the EX-president of RPI decided it would be a fantabulous idea to waste our tuition money to rename all of the buildings.)
