Grilled Rib Eye Steaks

Modified from Quick Cooking

 

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup onion, diced [they used green onions]

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 tsp ginger

1/4 tsp pepper

2 1/2 lbs beef rib eye steaks [I used what was in my freezer]

 

Combine first six ingredients in food storage device.  Add steaks.  Seal and turn to coat.  Refrigerate overnight (at least 8 hours). 

 

Discard marinade and drain steaks.  Grill steaks until doneness you prefer. 

 

Servings: 2-4 servings plus 1 1/4 lbs leftovers (this came with two leftover recipes that we haven't tried yet - if we like them, I'll post and link them}
