Sweet Barbecued Pork Chops

Modified from  Simple and Delicious

8 boneless pork loin chops (3/4 inches thick/8 oz...yeah, I just used what was in my freezer, which mean bone-in chops that I cut the bone out of)

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1/2 cup French salad dressing

1/2 cup honey

In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil in batches.  Return all to the skillet.  Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the chops.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 12-14 minutes or until meat is tender.

Serve immediately or you can cool to freeze.

Frozen Chops:

Thaw in the refrigerator overnight.  Place in a skillet; bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until heated through.

Makes 8 servings
