The short biography for Gage:

It all began in 1997.
Curtis has always been playing guitar, as did his father for years. And sometime in 1997, Curtis and Eric; who went to school together and Eric playing drums in band class, well they decided to start jamming in Curtis's mom's garage. Only two of them and that's how it began....
Almost a year later, they met up with Todd in school and learned he could play bass....He joined and jammed with them in the garage. Now there are 3 and it was 3 for two more years.
n 2000, after we all graduated in 1999. And Todd lived with his girlfriend in an apt. And I moved in upstairs with Curtis. Eric met Harry in town and brought him to Todd's place one afternoon. And then after trying Harry out and everyone liked him, the jamming spot was moved to a "shack" on Harry's Dad's property. Now in 2002, they still jam there. And with no heat and through the cold, wind and snow.....They prevailed.

GAGE PART 2
Sometime in Spring 2001, they tried out a singer named Greg. His voice and sound seemed to work, so they practiced with him singing about 2-3 times a week. They got a lot better and now the band is complete....Or is it?
November 2001 rolls around and an aquaintance from another band: Infinitism, wants to put on a gig in December. So of course, Gage is ready. Dec. 8th, 2001- Gig #1. Opening is Kickback(now broken up), then Gage, and the headliners Infinitism. Big Crowd and lots of great people wanting Gage to play more. They played all they could and played hard....What a night!! They blew everyone away. Most people left halfway through Infinitism's set. What a review Gage had. 1st gig.....and everyone loved it! The only downfall.....Greg was moving to Alberta in two days. So then.....Gage was left with NO singer.

Gage Part 3
They kept rehearsing though, new sounds, new songs, new guitars and equipment. Curtis met a couple of guys through work who rapped, and they wanted to put on a gig at Kerry Park; with open mic and all the rest. Gage would play last and I knew what would happen. Heavy/Rock Metal meets Rappers...?? Well, they wanted to do it, because they hadn't been on stage since December and they wanted to play in fromt of people again...Ok, well, on July 27th, 2002-Gig #2, Kerry Park with 49th Parallel, and Islands Childsmen. They didnt even go on until around 11:30pm and when they did, after the "homies" were done, most of the rap crowd left and Gage were playing it hard and great for a smaller crowd. But the funny thing was: I met two guys there who said that they were there for Gage, and have been following them!!! following them where??!?? That was only their second gig. Well, the main thing is....now they have groupies!!!!
