| A tiny cry breaks the silence of the night; |
| While high in the sky, stars of strange colours shine ever so bright, |
| Three pairs of eyes instead of one; |
| Blinking cautiously at first light, |
| A tiny yawn; |
| of three children no bigger than a fawn, |
| Three hedgehogs lay; |
| Blue, Pink and Green, |
| In their dear mother's arms they may, |
| This moments peace unknown to them; |
| Shall soon be not the same, |
| Their fate is sealed; |
| Destiny awaits, |
| For this happy family; |
| They shall soon separate, |
| Only till the time is right; |
| Only then shall they reunite, |
| This family of three siblings and dear mother; |
| Only when the war is over; |
| Can they truly be Together... |
