Welcome to the page dedicated to my friends. I believe this page will always be under construction since I'm always making new friends. No one will ever be removed even if we drop out of touch.
Many of my dearest friends in my life now are those I've made in the past four years I've been in college. Half are my fellow classmates and the other half are my cyber-friends. I have to admit I got the idea for this page from one of my cyber-friends, Joe Miller. There will be more about them as I find time to add things on.

My Belgian man. *hugs* He's one of the sweetest, gentlest, thoughtful guys I know. Another friend I made while chatting one night. We have something special going on... a really strong friendship that I would love to hold on to for a long time. We've helped each other through rough times... Well he helped me more. *warm smile* I'm pleased that he is a part of my life and I hope he's pleased to have me in his. I've written a few poems for him. Take some time & go read them!

Seems that so much time has passed since Stefan & I last talked that he has forgotten me. I'll always remember him & hold him as a friend in my heart. He gave me light to dance by in the dark & will always be a soul friend.

My first chat friend that happens to live in Atlanta! We've been friends for almost half a year. He's a band director and a wonderful composer!! I'm in love with his kitten, Kunga... and he ain't that bad either. *grins* We met briefly in December and his McNair Middle School band rocks!! Keep it up Wiz!

He's from Jersy but is in NY as a science person! *laughs* Dan's a neat guy and I'm glad we met. (Gotta add more some time soon... At least before he sees this!)

My partner in crime for four years! Girl can you believe FOUR YEARS?! *warm hugs* She's stuck by me through good times and bad. Even though I didn't like her at first, I'm glad she's my friend. The "Ivory" to my "Ebony". *laughs* I hope that we will continue our friendship long after we graduate in May of 1998. I luvs ya gurlie!!

She's my lil sis on campus. *hugs and squeals* (It's a Connie thing. Ya need to be here to know how it is. *grins*) Theatre people and community advisors need to stick together!! It's been a blast knowing her for the past two years and I hope it'll last for many more!

My star in the darkness for a year now. What a year we had. *fond smile* He's in Peru at the moment, planning on going to Japan for a while. One of the strongest friendships I enjoy having and working for... Right now our friendship is pretty rocky. He's going through a rough time at this point in time. I wish there was more I could do for him but it'll all come with time. Please say a small prayer for him. I know you don't know him, but please say it for me. Thank you so much.

A cool Texan who is getting shackled - uh, married this summer. Met in a chat room (seems familiar) and have been friends since. He's the only one I trust with my pictures to scan. And who I can rely on to help me pull my foot out of my mouth on occasion. *grins* Thanks.

Well... What can I say about this guy who I've known since high school? He's adorable, fun, caring, sweet, sensitive, thoughtful and so much more. He's from HotLanta also and we hang out every now and then. We've been friends for almost seven years. Whew! We got some history!! *grins* Goes to Howard University and like me will be graduating in May '98. Mere words can't express how I feel about Keon so I won't even try. But he knows what I mean. *smiles*
Amina Adbul-Jalil
My sister in soul, mind and heart! Wish we were truly sisters but we're close enough. Another friend whom I've had for seven years, since North Atlanta first opened and she tranferred in. She's been blessed with two beautiful daughters who I have to claim as my own: Alia and Jasmine. We've been through thick and thin, heaven, hell and that limbo in-between at times, good times and bad. We have enough between us to write a book or dozen. *grins* But I love her with all I am and I know she feels the same. Our friendship could be said to be one that can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. Well, we have and we're still goin' on.

My sister got married May 15, 1999!! I was her Maid of Honor & the wedding was lovely. Soon she & her husband will be celebrating their first year anniversary!
Robert Lewis
Yet another Rob to enter my life and man did he ever! He's a recent addition to my friends & my life. He's a great guy & we had the chance to meet recently. I'm still walking on clouds! *grins* We have something special here if we so chose to pursue it. I know I'd love to see what can happen between us. Sean is my dear friend in Calgary, Canada. It's been a true pleasure to have met him. Haven't known him long but I hope our friendship will be as great as those I share already. Road trip to Canada Sean! Get ready for me! *laughs & hugs*

Now for a sweetheart of a dragon, Stephen. He's crazy, adorable, protective, funny, thoughtful, gentle, caring, and a great, supportive friend. Ok, throw in kinda cute too. I enjoy spending time with him ... even though he drives me up the wall some times. *grins* We have an interesting but much needed friendship growing between us. Thanks so much for being a friend to me. You'll never know how much you mean to me because there are no words to describe or ways to measure.

We've now been together for almost 4 months. Our lives have pretty much merged into one even though we're still dealing with living in different states. I love being with him, talking with him, laughing with him... I love him. Plain & simple. I hope that our lives will continue together for a very long time because I'm not ready to be without him any time in the near future.

Since I met this next friend through Stephen, it's only right that I place her after him. Minx is one cool sista whom I've been blessed to meet. Stephen introduced us one nite in ICQ & we've been sisters since. She's engaged to be married & I'm so happy for her. Minx's been a very supportive & understanding friend. She came at a time when I needed someone to talk with, open up to & help me through a rough spot in my life. *huge hugs* Thanks so much for being such a wonderful friend & sista. Luv ya grrrl!! And thanks Stephen for intro'ing us. Guess I owe him one. ;-)
