I have pondered long and hard of how to create this shrine to the dragon whose inspiration gave a name to this site. There was once a page celebrating the dragon species in general, giving honour to their existance. While not a bad shrine, 'twasn't honouring my dragon. It took one question for me to re-examine why the page was created in the first place. Now, the shrine stands for the one dragon that gave name to this site. A creature forever at war with itself. Both good and evil... light and dark... A being of pure beauty eternally burning with seething rage. Yet it cannot bring itself to harm anyone. It desires not trinkets nor jewelery. Has no need for mountains of gold nor great palaces. It waits within darkness, comforted by the silence of the infinite. Waiting for a time when things shall change, hopefully causing an end to its endless rage. I celebrate this noble creature, knowing not how to honour it properly. I can only hope this page can be a start. A start in a direction I should have taken long ago. Back to Main Page
