Role:

Gouldakai is a patron deity of mental and physical perfection. He is the Unspeaking Father,, but the reason for his silence has never been revealed. Gouldakai is a masterful writer, and his poetry is read by all his followers.

Gouldakai appears as an old man, with a shaven face and hairless scalp, clad in worn, gray robes. He is think and slight of build, with deeply tanned skin and dark gray eyes. Common titles for Gouldakai are the Silent One, Father of Perfection, and Lord of Infinity.

The Silent One's monastic clergy often undertake solitary travel to bring the enlightenment of Gouldakai's philosophy to the uninformed. Eventually a priest settles in one temple, typically for the remainder of his life. It is not uncommon for temple priests to accept a vow of silence and of the the clergy are taught a silent, manual language.

Gouldakai's abbeys are unassuming sanctuaries designed to promote mental health and well-being. They are found in all settings, from rural communities to large cities.
