Role: Naultan is the accepted, and rarely disputed lord of the oceans and seas. Hehas occasionally clashed with Ul'ty, but these conflicts are rare as Naultan does not care about the people who die while traversing his oceans. The Furious One is seen as the patron of sailors and fishermen, but this is usually limited to prayers asking for fair weather.
Naultan is the son of Gadaru and Ul'ty, and inherited distinctive elements from each parent's temperament. He is on good terms with his mother and father, but finds little in common with the other deities.
There are countless mariner's legends of storms borne from Naultan's fury. These tales depict him as a great humanoid that forms from living waves amidst gale winds. He walks upon the ocean as if it were solid ground, his voice rumbles like thunder, and he summons forth bolts of lightning from his fingertips. Common titles for Naultan are the Furious One, Lord of the Depths, and Master of the Oceans.
It is said that a ship carrying a priest of Naultan will never capsize. For this reason, mariners often seek out clergy of the Furious One. Naultan's priests promote this belief by taunting sailors and ocean-going travelers, and are consequently mocked as preying upon the superstitions of sailors and children.
The Furious One's temples are normally found in seaports. Some are located in small fishing villages or in remote areas, but all are near bodies of water.
