Role:

Olhantam is the lord of nature and woodlands. Though concerned with the preservation of nature, he acknowledges the mortal necessity to take from the world. Olhantam emphasizes the proper use of natural resources and, when possible, the replacement of what is taken.

Olhantam has fathered three children; his son Ankaris was born to Chaulatae, and his daughters Isbri and Ul'ty were born to Kaichea. Though he loved both Chaulatae and Kaichea, the Creator favored Kaichea. When the whimsical Kaichea bore children to Sethanit, Olhantam cast her away.

Olhantam appears to worshippers as an elderly member of their respective race. He has thinning white hair and a full beard, and wears old, worn robes colored green, blue, and brown. He carries a cudgel and sling. COmmon titles for Olhantam are the Creator, All-Father, and Lord of Nature.

Olhantam's priests safeguard woodlands, frequently planting seeds and saplings throughout their travels. People must live in harmony with their natural surroundings. Those who excessively or needlessly destroy forests and woodland animals must be stopped.

The Creator's temples are buildings, caves, or groves located in woodlands and rural settings. They may be near settlements, and are sometimes found within elven and gnomish communities.
