Never known to anger or offend others, there are many accounts of Oln helping to settle conflicts of help travelers reach their destination. He is an upbeat and eternal optimist, quick of wit, generous with his praise,, and always finding the best in any situation. Common titles for Oln are the Wanderer, the Negotiator, and Father of Trade.

Priests of Oln are tactful diplomats who promote commerce and encourage trade and free enterprise. Their association with various races has given them informed insight into many different cultures and customs. The Traveler's priests are prized as negotiators in trade talks and they have also been known to quietly gather information for handsome prices.

As wanderers on their own endless journeys, Oln's priests are obliged to help their fellow travelers. They have established networks of way stations in sparsely-traveled regions and along wilderness trails. These small lodges are maintained throughout the year, and are regularly supplied with blankets, dry rations, and water.

The Traveler's temples are found in cities and towns, but are most prevalent in rural communities and unsettled regions. They are simple, unadorned buildings of wood or stone, and all travelers are welcome. Anyone entering a temple to Oln will always be offered a place to rest and food to eat.
