Role: Despite the influences of Alchenda, Felicityn, and Luliki, Rancorin is the truest patron of thieves. He is the ideal to which most rogues strive, the epitome that many theives struggle to become.
Rancorin embodies what most people consider a thief to be. Much as Alchenda, he is a master of hiding and stealth. Like Felicityn, he loves festivities and joyful crowds; after all, what riper thieving grounds could a soul ask for? And like Luliki, he is a gambler and a risk-taker.
The Rogue is the son of Burthaggid and Isbri. He is extremely fond of Alchenda, and is on favorable terms with Ul'ty. He likes Gadaru, and cannot understand why a power with so great a sense of humor is in disfavor with most of the pantheon.
The only uniformity in Rancorin's appearance is that his visage is rarely the same twice. Many races worship Rancorin, and he is usually depicted as a male of their race. Common titles for Rancorin are the Rogue, Master of Deception, and Lord of Locks.
Priests of the Rogue stir thoughts of theivery and are not generally well-received. It is not uncommon practice for Rancorin's clergy to conceal their holy symbols but, if confronted they do not directly deny their faith. Their philosophy is a simple one: the rewards of life go to those who seize them. People who cannot hold onto their property do not deserve it.
Rancorin's temples are usually located in cities and towns. They are not openly advertised, and are usually hidden structures accessed through trapped secret chambers and passages from other buildings.
