Role:

Whogam is the defender of the woodlands, elves, and forest creatures that live under her protection. She teaches the careful hunting of the animals of the land and is the sworn enemy of those who hunt for sport alone. She is also a patron of farmers, but much less so than Zandaron.

The Huntress is the daughter of Zandaron and Lhuramni. She inherited her father's love of the land, and her mother's compassion and protective nature. Whogam is close to her mother and father, but she finds little in common with the other powers.

To humans, Whogam appears as a beautiful young woman clad in a green commoner's shirt and brown leather trousers. To gnomes and halflings, whe appears as a mature female with gray hair, twinkling eyes, and a handful of seeds to sow. To elves, she is the sacred guardian of the woodlands, appearing as a beautiful elven archer who is powerful, protective, and determined. Common titles for Whogam are the Huntress, Lady of Reaping, Mother of Farmers, and Mistress of Harvests.

Priests of the Huntress prefer woodlands to settlements. They are wanderers who roam the countryside preaching their philosophies of living in harmony with the land. They teach to take only what is needed, to give thanks for the bounties received, and to replace what is taken.

Whogam's clergy are skilled hunters and most are adept archers. Though they tolerate cultured lifestyles, they tend to feel out of place in human cities and towns, and are always most comfortable in woodland environments.

There are many more shrines and small chapels consecrated to the Huntress than large temples. Her places of worship are usually found in rural settlements and are rarely located in large cities.
