I wish I could have moved the car outside to pressure wash the engine compartment without the motor in there, but with the tranny sitting on a jack, I decided not to bother. I've had the trans out before so I know I didn't want to tackle that job as well. As anybody that's worked on these cars knows, they built the frame and drivetrain and then dropped the body on so lots of things aren't easy to work on. The tranny crossmember is really hard to get out, plus the trans cooler lines are hard to get re-connected with no leaks. |
