| Here's the short block back together. Notice the Meziere electric water pump. The Meziere pump uses the stock housing which you have to gut of it's parts. I did it with a hydraulic press and it was pretty exciting. Make sure if you do it yourself that you wear eye protection because I saw sparks when it finally broke loose. The other option is to get a polished and preped housing from the NAISSO SuperStore so you don't have to mess with it at all. I decided to re-use the stock roller lifters because there just wasn't any wear on them and I just couldn't stand to throw them away. On top of that, the new Crane ones I bought for it cost $170, so I just sent them back to Summit. |
