Snuffles is caused by a bacteria called, Pasteurella Multocida that lives in the upper respiratory tract of rabbits. Its symptoms include sneezing with white or yellow nasal discharge that can be either thin or thick. Pneumonia is often a secondary complication. Death is usually associated with secondary infections. There is no cure as of yet. You can prevent Snuffles with an improved ventilation system, strict culling, isolation of sick animals, minimized stress factors, and sanitization of drinking bowls and water lines to prevent the build up of algae and bacteria.For More Information on Snuffles, Please Visit These Pages:
