An
Autumn Sidewalk
Blood red corpses,
piling on the ground, falling through the air
Red blood red, clinging to
life
with outstretched limbs wrinkled in s e p a r a t i o n from
life
And the anguished swarms of undead tornado in frustration, trying
to sweep ME
to their similar red, blood red, doom
I step
Their arms fold in
Their hearts collapse
and with a gasp
crumple into a handful of lifeless ash.
