Seal In The Freshness!!

Plastic Wrapping Your Cat

Since I've started this web page, a lot of people have sent Cleo, Munchie and I e-mail about us personally, and about basic cat care.  One question I get often is "How do I keep my cat fresh?"  Cats, like other fine produce, often spoil when not stored properly.  Plastic wrapping your cat solves this problem, sealing in both freshness and color.  This pictorial illustrates the best method for plastic wrapping your cat for freshness!

STEP 1: Choosing The Proper Bag

When choosing a plastic bag for your cat, keep in mind the size and shape of your cat.  A well rounded cat like Munchie fares best in a large comforter bag.  A zip lock bag is adequate for storage of a small kitten; a Maine Coon may require an industrial size clear recycling bag.  The advantage of a comforter bag is that it has a convenient zipper for sealing in the freshness.  Clear bags do best so that you may display him for company, showing off your beautifully maintained feline.0

Step 2: Ensuring Comfort

The cat owners main concern is usually "How comfortable will my cat be in his bag?"  This problem is solved easily with the addition of a small blanket or a pillow in the bag.  It will provide a soft base for your cat to rest against.  Be sure you choose colors that will compliment your cat's coat so that you will be able to display your cat with pride.

Step 3: Entertaining your Cat

Now that your cat is sealed in plastic, your entertainment options are simple.  Either install a string inside inside the bag, as seen in this picture, or simply taunt your cat with other objects by bouncing them off the outside of the bag.

Step 4: Enjoying your Cat

Now that your cat is comfortably sealed in plastic, you may enjoy him for many years to come with no risk of soft spots or spoilage.  As you can see, the cat enjoys his time in the plastic and is charming to view.

No cats were harmed in the making of this webpage.  In fact, Munchie climbed inside the plastic bag himself and hung out a while, then wandered off and did something else.
