    This link will take you to a collection of photos I discovered at Yahoo.  Though some photos don't fit into the category; looking through the photos, I can see many things.

    1. How the different perceptions of Muslim women have been shaped.
    2. The diversity of cultures forming the many different contexts within which Islam is the guiding principle and way of life.
    3. How truly unlimited the contribution of the Muslim woman is to include that of:  mother, sister, student, teacher, professional, intellectual, physician, healthcare provider, and above all, the servant of none other than Allah (swt), etc.
    4. For those sisters who recognize that their worship of Allah (swt) includes ghimar/hijab and is incomplete without it, these photos (in most cases) dispel the misconception of the veil as a symbol of the servitude and oppression of women in Islam.
