Kenny Moreland Joins 'Just Bizarre'

Rachel Innes is proud, and pleased as punch, to announce the first member of her band-in-the-making, 'Just Bizarre'.

Kenny Moreland, a renowned singer-songwriter in his own right, joins Rachel's Brighton-based band.

He'll be playing acoustic guitar, performing backing vocals, and hopefully doing a bit of collaborating along the way.

Rachel Innes & Kenny Moreland spent two hours in rehearsal @ Church Road Studios, Hove.

The session, deemed a 'great success' by all in attendance, spawned four numbers:

Two Rachel compositions: 'Kayco' & 'She's Got His Heart', one new self-penned Kenny gem: 'I Long' & a reflective cover of the timeless Abba classic, 'Dancing Queen'.

Jake Rousham @ The Metway

"Howdy. The name's Jake, a professional sound engineer @ Metway Studios, Brighton."

Having taken a liking to 'This Feeling', Rachel's collaboration with Mike Bell, Jake has given her three backing tracks, with a view to Rachel writing lyrics and then recording the numbers for possible future release.

Throughout the four years that the Metway Studios has been open they have seen many big names succesfully record there: Lo Fidelity All Stars, Gold Blade, Joe Strummer, Oyster Band, Indian Ropeman, Tom Robinson and Tricky, to name but a few.

As well as having a first class Recording Studio, they also rent out the other rooms in their studio complex to bands and DJs. Phil Hartnoll from Orbital has got his own programming suite in the complex.

As well as managing the 'Levellers', he also manages Brighton based 'The Milk and Honey Band', 'The Lounge' and Londoners 'Ruth', all heading for equally great things.
