RECAP
The return of TBL Softball saw one of the lowest scoring games in history thanks to one of the most dominating pitching performances in history.

Team Sticks was held to a mere 2 runs, only coming on a 1st inning home run by Chris Russo, by starter Mike Wright.  Mike's run total ties for second all-time lowest (with Krakowski) with Rich Seibert having the lowest runs allowed in history - 1 run back in 2006.  Wright allowed only 10 hits - 3 for extra bases - over a complete 9 innings, striking out one.

Mike's team helped his cause by supporting him with 8 runs - 4 RBI's came from Will Boylan, 2 from Ralphie Truelson and 1 each for Boniello and Wright.  Mike Middleton did not drive any runs in, but went 5-7 - a home run away from the cycle.  Also making his return was Jordan "Underdog" Bonomo from his travels in Thailand.  Jordan went 4-6 on the day and was solid in left field, commiting no errors.

The day also saw a league-record 3 women play - Emily Kaufman, Lina Fraccaroli and Rosemary Maldonado.  Lina had the best day of the three, finishing 2-4 with a double.  Emily and Rosemary were hitless, more due to good defensive play from the pitchers than anything else.  Seibert needed a couple diving throws to get Rosemary out, and Wright had a couple lucky reflex catches to rob Emily of hits.
