RECAP
		Game 1 of a wacky 9-inning doubleheader began at JJHS, before the Turkey Leaguers were chased off by little kids playing baseball.  Game 1 lasted a mere 4 innings, of which were quite painful for Team J-Rod as they fell 17-7. Team Diesel put up 17 runs in only 4 innings, one of the fastest starts in TBL history.  Leading the way was Rookie of the Year candidate Anthony Fraccaroli, who smoked 2 home runs and drove in 6 runs.  Chris Russo, Co-Rookie of the Year in 2007, also had 2 home runs and drove in 3.  League leader Josh Hyman hit his 7th home run, also driving in 3, while speedy Mike "Cheese" Ricotta connected for his 1st homer of the year and also drove in 3. Team J-Rod picked up 4 runs right away in the 1st inning, thanks to a big home run by Will Boylan, his 1st on the year.  Jared Boniello also homered, a solo shot, but for the most part Team J-Rod was held in check by Rich "Diesel" Seibert's pitching as he picked up win #2 on the year.
