The Turkey Bowl League was officially founded in 2005. It's roots trace back to 1998 with the playing of the first annual Turkey Bowl football game. Softball was introducted in 2003, Football in 2005 and Basketball & Fantasy in 2006.
Record numbers turned out for the 2005 season, and more are expected for 2006.
