| June 13, 2002 Oh my GAS! At the current moments, this site is not for long. Anyway, the obsessions has updated and a bunch was contributed. Thanks especially to Stephanie Duvall, Stephanie Pearce, Monami etc.. I've decided that Checkmate will re-launch on September. It means, there will be more news and a new version of the site, more pictures and a new club will be. So, see ya soon. If i check my email with many updates, I will update the site as soon as poss..! April 28, 2002 Hello EveryONE! I'm Elaine the webmistress, the creator and the owner of Checkmate <A Daniel Radcliffe Fansite.> I'm glad that I'm back to maintain the site again and sorry for the lack of updates and downtime for one month and 17 days. The Reasons? it's because something happened bad to the builder.., I have no internet account the whole month and in that 17 days and I'm busy preparing for a stage play. I'm very sorry. After all, thanks to all who contributed, who joined the message boards and who signed in the guestbook. I really appreciate good or bad comments. I've seen that my site haven't qualified in the finalists of Wingardium Awards.. well, that's okay! there are more time to come.. So, as you see, CHECKMATE changed into a new colored version! called orange. I think it's cool because many suggested for that color version for about 59 votes. Thanks a lot! It means so much to me. For all the sites I had, Checkmate is the most updated and unique because of Dan. He's the inspiration why I built this site for all the fans of him. Enjoy the site! Checkmate's downloads is very little, so if please contribute any wallpapers or screensavers?! Checkmate sooner will have a new version but still pink. if you're tired of the color you can suggest for any uniques like lime green, yellow, sky blue, purple/lavender or any kind of light pale colors except for reds, blacks or just dark colors. We want to maintain this site UNIQUE coz we won the award for Most Unique in 3rd place. Also, Midori made a form box for this site, and it's very ideal for the site coz I know everyone will love it... you can preview the unfinished mailform here. March 9, 2002 Oh! We are very sorry for many lack of Updates because I did a work for a month. We had a play last 2 days. So, when I checked out my inbox, I was surprised because I have 2 awards. One is from the Wingardium Awards and from Celebrity Link. Check out the AWARDS page to see it. There were two sister sites, an update for calendar and I updated the Credits section. I'm so flattered because I'm not expecting my site to have awards like this. I just wanna know if my site is good so I tried to nominate my site. February 23, 2002 First, I updated the quotable pages then I checked up my email. There were many webmistresses who would like to apply on affiliation or a sister site like Midori of Endlessly CLIQUE, Avalon of Face the Charm and Jenna of Daniel Radcliffe Exposed so I made up the affiliates/sister sites page. Then I created my memberships page, because I joined some CLIQUES and Fan Listings then the last ONE I made is a BLOGGER. It is also like this, posting comments and news but only to invited people are allowed to post but if you like to post thoughts or news, email me a blankmail which subjects to BLOGGER.
