its a bummer; ruins relationships
yep, i've been there, i know all about it
moving away can be more than an inconvenience
i knew this girl once
she was more than just 'this girl'
thought she was 'the girl' for a time
met her in high school,
she was from a different school
not too far away, but far enough
enough to make things fun
then came college
she was from an even more distant school then
things couldnt work out
i had wished they would
even after we broke up i had wished they'd work
maybe someday i'll wish they'd work again
maybe she is 'the girl'
time will tell
