|
Sun Rise (estimated) | 5:48 AM
Sun Set (estimated) | 8:22 PM
Moon Rise (estimated) | 9:17 PM
Crusing Notes 1 | The moon will be almost full, and will rise shortly after sunset, giving the possibility of a warm night time cruise under a full moon to the raftup location for those who should desire it. The normal day will provide 14 and 1/2 hours of daylight, not including pre-dawn and post-dusk.
Crusing Notes 2 | According to my "A Gunkholers Guide to the Cheasapeake Bay", it says
Like Dividing and Indian Creeks, Dymer is exposed to the southeast for most of its length. Entering is easy if you honor the markers on the way in. The best anchorages are in the tributaries or coves off the main creek. Virtually all are readily accessible, and except for Lees Cove, Chases Cove, and the unnamed cove just before Chases, all have 6 or more feet of water.

Crusing Notes 3 | Dixie Chicken and Raftup Co-Captain Larry Taborek will be bringing
his boat Dixie Chicken down from Coltons Pt. Maryland. Please contact him if your interested in coordinating
your boat travel plans to Dymer Creek.
