Dear Friends,
I have completed B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Application) during the year 1997-2000 through University of Madras, Chennai. My Native is VELLORE located near Chennai. I wish to tell you about Vellore, Please take this as a fun. (Vellore people, please don't mistake me!)

The name reason:
VEL + VOOR = VELLORE
VEL - "The weapon of Lord Murugan"
VOOR - "A Small Town&qquot;
Vellore town is surrounded with hills, and the people are called as "kuravan (men) & Kurathi (women)" according to Tamil Literature and their Tamil God is "MURUGAN" whose Weapon is "VEL".
O.K. let us come to the Subject,
As a computer graduate I wish to do some thing to those who are new to LINUX and UNIX. I have given some tips for them. This document doesn't contain any commands and just covers the basic precautions.
I am also not that much familiar with these Operating Systems. However this Links will guide you about the Operating System.
