There are seven Color Kids which serve as helpers to Rainbow Brite. They are each responsible for one color of the rainbow, and take their duties very seriously. All seven have been alive since the beginning of time; they were banished to the seven corners of the world when the Shadow King came to power, as seen in "The Beginning of Rainbow Land," but were set free when Rainbow Brite rescued them. Each Color Kid has thier own personality, so read on to meet each kid!

Red Butler
is a smooth talking boy that is full of charm. He loves to go on
adventures, or be the leader (though he usually ends up following Rainbow!)
;) He loves to show off, and when he is doing os he is more likely
to be captured by Murky and Lurky. Then, he has to rely on someone
else to rescue him. Those who are not very happy love Red, for he
brings joy into everyone's life. However, he often goes on in long
and boring stories that tell of his amazing adventures. Red and his
sprite, Romeo mine the Red color crystals and turn them into star sprinkles
to make sure that everything is a nice, vibrant red color!
Lala Orange is a fun, flirty girl that has a humongus crush on Red Butler! ;) She can often be found primping and preening so that she will look just right for Red. Lala is full of energy and always eager to help out. Although she can be a little pushy Lala usually knows when to stop. She is also known for being a "French madame" with her beret and playing practical jokes on everyone! Lala and her sprite, OJ, mine the orange color crystals.
Canary Yellow is very sunny and cheerful, and is sometimes described as Rainbow Brite's best friend, as she likes the bright hues of yellow. Canary is also considered the optimist of the Color Kids, though she is somewhat naive. She is one of the most caught Color Kids by Murky and Lurky. When not spreading yellow cheer this "girl next door" is practicing her dancing. Canary and her sprite, Spark, are in charge of the yellow color crystals.
Patty is a cute and mischevious little girl that, along with Lala, enjoys to play practical jokes. Because she is outgoing, loves life, and nature Patty is often described as Rainbow's best friend. In fact, she and Ranbow sing a song together about being best friends on the "Paint a Rainbow In Your Heart" tape and record. Patty has the best of both worlds, a little bit of sugar and spice! :) Patty loves the color green, and brags (a little too much) about how the earth depends on her. She is very proud that her sprite, Lucky and her are in charge of the green star sprinkles.
Buddy is the athletic color kid, which you can see by the sweatband around his head! He is amazing at anything involvig athletics, and lives and breathes physical fitness. Though he tries to get the Color Kids intrested in sports it just doesn't work. Patty O'Green will usually go for early morning jogs with Buddy, but is always short of breath and has to stop for a break very often. Throughout the web a Patty/Buddy romance is imagined by some, but there is no direct evidence to support this. (But here's a kewl pic of Buddy and Patty together!) Buddy Blue is the peaceful color kid, who always tries to restore order, espeicially when Rainbow is gone. He and his sprite, Champ, bring blue to the world.
Indigo is the quietest of the Color Kids, rivled only by Shy Violet. Despite being so quiet Indigo has always wanted to be a famous actress and has a very "dramatic" personality. Some outsiders think that she is overdramatic or spends to much time with her head in the clouds, but in reality she is a very grounded person. She and her sprite, Hammy, bring the indigo colors to the world.
Shy Violet is the most studious of the Color Kids and often is refered to as a genius. Whenever there is a logical problem, Shy Violet is the first one that the Color Kids turn to for help. She once figured how to rewrork an alien spaceship to use color crystals! She Violet is very shy, but whenever she speaks up she is always right! She and her sprite, IQ, mine the Violet color crystals and spread Violet, the color of intelligence, around the world!
