Galaxy Express 999 aired in Korea too, from 1981 to 1983 on MBC-TV.
It was so popular that there was a GE999 fan, having missed certain
TV episodes of this Korean version for some reasons, apparently
thought about dating the daughter of the president of MBC-TV,
in order to get the tapes. (ha...)
VSL Korea (a branch of Japan's VSL) made GE999 3D version last year.
I did not have a chance to watch this though.
韓国でも1981年から1983年まで、MBC-テレビで銀河鉄道999を
放映しました．
どの韓国の999ファンは、見逃した銀河鉄道999の韓国語版テープを
入手のために、MBC-テレビの社長の娘とデートする試みも
ったそうです。（笑）
銀河鉄道999は、2000年、韓国のVSLK(日本VSLの韓国支社)が
3D化しました。私は見たことが りませんけど…
