14th Hull Rainbow Guides
     We do lots of exciting activites, and sometimes we go out to special places. Here are a few of the things we have done since the Millennium.

Millennium bug party
-All the Rainbows came dressed up as bugs as we celebrated the millennium, we ate lots of food and played lots of games, the Rainbows loved it!

Valentines Night- For this we baked valentines biscuits with melted gacier fruits in the middle. Bethany made her promise that night.

Joint meeting with the 53rd Rainbows-When we met the 53rd Rainbows, we did lots of exciting activites from around the world and flew on a magic capet to different countries.

Ladybird Night-On this night we talked all about Ladybirds! We made Ladybird bookmarks, which were really cute, played pin the nose on the Ladybird, and searched for Ladybirds around the room.

Church Parade-Four times a year we go to Church Parade this time it was a Mothering Sunday service, two of the Rainbows carried Flopsy the rabbit up to the altar at the beginning of the service and then back again at the end.

Our 12th birthday party- For our birthday we had a party. We had lots of food and we also had a surprise leaving party for Fawn.

Grass Men- The Rainbows all made grass men out of tights and we filled them with grass seeds and sawdust then tied them up and put wobbly eyes on them. The rainbows watered them and watched their hair grow!

Winnie The Pooh Night- We did lots of activities and games on the theme of Pooh bear and his friends.

Victorian Night - We dressed up in Victorian Costume and looked at some of the things used everyday.

Parachute Games- The Rainbows went out on to the field and we played lots of games using the parachute

Jumble Sale- We had a Jumble Sale to raise money for repairs to our hut, we raised £165. 

Promise Ceremony- Five of the new Rainbows, Tilly, Laura, Georgina, Chloe and Connie all made their promise.

STOMP-
15 of our Rainbows attended the STOMP at Ennerdale Leisure Centre. There were lots of activities for them to do including face painting, badge making, a magican, soft play, bouncy castle and a big campfire when all the Rainbows came together to join the Brownies and Guides We all had a great time and enjoyed it a lot, especially as one of our Rainbows was a brilliant magicans helper.

Teddy Bears Picnic-
We had our teddy bears picnic at the local park during the summer, although we had to cancel it due to the rain and have it in our hut instead!

Red Hot Fiesta!- Our district will be having  a craft session on Queens Gardens as well as joining everyone in with the parade.

Beach Party- We had a beach party were all the Rainbows dressed as if they are going to the beach! there was beach games, ice creams and lovely cooling drinks!

Church Parade- A Harvest Festival service, Where the Rainbows brought fresh fruit and vegetables to take up during the service. They were then distributed among the parish.

Fish Night- The Rainbows made fish mobiles and even ate some unusual fish and played lots of fishy games!

Re-cycling Project- We are recycling aluminium cans to raise money for our hut repairs. So far we have made magnets to test the cans, played environment games and talked about re-cycling.

Mother and Daughter Night- The Rainbows brought along their Mums, Aunties, Grandmas etc and made things to sell at the Christmas Fair.

Disney Party- The Rainbows dressed up as their favourite Disney characters for our Christmas Party. We played Disney games and had party food.
