Magnet 360 books their first outside of school gig. The only condition is that the band needs to find a female singer; Josie talks Corrine into wanting to try out.
Corrine tries to talk Marshall, who is reluctant about the idea, into allowing her. When he goes behind the curtains, Corrine looks into a mirror and tries to gather confidence, but doubts herself. The mirror shines and the image revolves. The background is now different. Turning around, Corrine finds the science club, but in a different reflection.
Josie is in different shades of pink and airy, Vaughn is carrying around a book and wearing glasses, Lucas is hooked on lollipops and seemingly more charming, and Marshall is dreary. They are rehearsing for their spring performance and are somewhat entertained by Corrine's reactions. Frantic, Corrine heads to the science room in a search for Professor Z, but the room is covered in plastic, spider webs, and dust.

"My shoe buckles, they go the wrong way! My buttons are on the wrong side! The writing on my school crest is backwards and so are you guys!" – Corrine to Josie, Vaughn, Lucas, and Marshall.

Professor Z comes yelling down the mail hallway, angry with a review by a critic. Corrine approaches but he plays word games with her, in a poetic sense. Principal Durst appears and Professor Z draws her attention to Corrine, saying she has come out of Professor Middleton's science room. Principal Durst is distressed that another one has mysteriously come to Blake Holsey and fears Victor Pearson will find out and urges Corrine to keep her method of arrival a secret. Professor Z is convinced he can teach Corrine how to sing.
He and the "drama club" struggle and learn new ways to teach each other; they teach Corrine to sing using the analytical, left part of the brain, instead of the creative, right part which the rest of them are all used to. When it seems like they are making progress, Principal Durst walks in with Victor Pearson. Professor Z tries to distract Victor but he has already noticed Corrine's singing. Victor calls attention to Corrine and says that she did not audition. Principal Durst and Professor Z defend Corrine but Victor demands to hear Corrine sing.

"Oh, well, of course she did, Victor. You said she was, 'formidable'" – Principal Durst to Victor.
"'Formidable?' Sounds like something I might have said." – Victor in response.

Corrine sings, getting better as the song goes on. Seemingly convincing, Corrine walks forward, but her foot pulls on a cord that is wrapped around the legs of the mirror she came through, pulling down the mirror and breaking it on the floor. Victor wants Corrine out of the school immediately, and he leaves laughing at them. Corrine tells the rest of them that she really did come through the mirror, she isn't a transfer student. They attempt to fix the mirror but it is still shattered. Josie offers to hide Corrine in her room and the idea that she may have to stay there devastates Corrine.
Corrine walks outside and the janitor speaks to her. He tells Corrine to use both sides of her brain, while not forgetting to let one go without activity. When Corrine is ready to go back to her world, she will have the ability to. With new determination, Corrine informs the mirror-science club on making a new mirror.

"Proving that science is creative, and that the arts are scientific." – Professor Z

Rounding up necessities from around the school, they create a new mirror. Right as it is being put into position, Marshall and Lucas let it go of it and it sways and begins to fall over. In a surge of motion, Professor Z and Corrine catch it.
The mirror-science club says they will see about putting science back on their curriculum, aiming to use both sides of their brain as Corrine has learned to do. Corrine then kisses Marshall and goes back through the mirror.
Back in the normal world, Corrine confesses that she doesn't want to be in the band, that it was just to prove she is more than just a math and science expert. Marshall asks if something happened to change her mind. Corrine responds that maybe she'll tell him someday. As they walk through the hallway, the Janitor wheels the mirror out of the audition room.
    Episode notes:

    • Janitor's secret message: "Left is right, right is left."
    • Corrine claims she can't sing outside of the shower. This is incorrect because we have heard an excellent voice from her in the episode "Storm".
    Personal thoughts:
This episode was just a filler episode. No one expects a lot from them. Things in them rarely affect the series as a whole. This episode, however, was fabulous! We at the StrangeDays forum could not get enough of the mirror-personalities. Everyone of them has been looked at through a magnifying glass. Lucas didn't see too much spotlight but everyone seems to adore Corrine with mirror-Marshall. This has unfortunately opened a can of worms, which is annoying to deal with. Much thought has gone into if mirror-Marshall pushed the mirror or if it fell which we were left victims of camera perspective.*
It was pointed out to me that the duet that Prof Z refered to was from East Side Story, opposite of West Side Story.
The only downside about this episode is that it was only a half hour episode. It raises the bar for filler episodes everywhere. Most of the people at the StrangeDays forum seem to like the music. They are always asking for the lyrics and hope to hear full-length versions of the songs in future episodes.
Caution: Warning about this episode is to not analyze it too much. One can inspire a lot of arguements about what it is supposed to mean. While it is rooted in C/M, the only good episode to come out of that storyline, the analyzing of Mirror-Marshall vs Normal-Marshall, the other opposite personalities and what exactly is being mirrored, the song, and other things can really go to your head and bring down your opinion of the episode. This episode is often thrown away when looking for evidence to support claims out of other episodes because of this. It is agreed that one should watch it flat out, without going deep into analysis.
    Rating: 9/10

*Stay in the mirror-world? Did Marshall actually push the mirror, the second time it fell over? As Lucas and Marshall are positioning the mirror, Lucas clearly walks off and the mirror is still, but Marshall is still a behind the mirror when it is beginning to fall as he walks forward. When the mirror is in motion, Marshall walks off, even though he is close enough to aid in catching it. If the mirror broke, Corrine would be trapped in the mirror-world. There is evidence that mirror-Marshall really liked Corrine throughout the episode and seemed to not like hearing that she wasn't staying. There are hints that mirror-Marshall may be more assertive at achieving what he wants, something that seems uncharacteristic of the normal Marshall and therefore fits as something about mirror-Marshall. Would he really have tried to keep Corrine there is up to judgment however, because the angle of the camera was not in the position to see if he actually pushed it. Because of the perspective of the camera, it can't be concluded for sure that it was not a coincidence.

    Reflections: You're all about joy
But that's not who you are
    The sadness in your heart
    Hidden deep inside

    I gave you my song,
    My laughter, my life (light)
But you dim (dimmed) my radiance
Your tears turn day to night

    Reflections of reflections
    My love reflects your joy
But your pain is like a mirror
There's a light it will distroy.

    Darkness leads to light...

    The other song:
    Better times are coming around
I pick my feet from off the ground
So much stuff I'd like to say
I feel you near me in every way

Would you tell me how you feel?

    I feel you near me
    I feel you near me
    I feel you near me
    I feel you near me
