The hall is crowded as Corrine, Josie, and Lucas are coming through it. Vaughn is talking to a girl in the hall and as they pass him Marshall calls for them and tries to catch up with them. As he is trying, Vaughn ends his conversation and gets behind Corrine, Josie, and Lucas. Marshall is behind Vaughn when another student closes a door that Marshall is in the way of, causing Marshall to become trapped in the Janitor’s closet. Josie’s arm is elbowed in the hallway, causing her books to fall out of her hand. As she picks them up, Vaughn picks up one of them, opens it, and begins to read it. Josie catches him and snatches it from his hand, demanding to know what he saw; the book is her journal. Vaughn claims he was just being polite by trying to help her pick up her books but Josie does not appreciate it. As they go off for their next class, no one hears Marshall calling from the Janitor’s closet for help.

“Look, broken arm or not, if you ever touch my journal again, I’ll split you like the atom.” – Josie to Vaughn.

“That was nothing? Remind me to stay on your good side. You do have a good side, right?” – Lucas to Josie.

Marshall continues to bang on the door. The Janitor opens the door and Marshall tries to explain how he got in there but the Janitor does not seem interested.

“You’re standing on my mop.” – the Janitor to Marshall.

At the Pearson mansion, Vaughn tries to talk to his father who is really busy. He tries to tell Vaughn to tell him again some other time.

“Maybe this weekend when I’m not so busy, we can have dinner or go to a movie.” – Victor to Vaughn.

Vaughn persists, however, telling his father that a new girl, Josie, has a journal and she wrote something about a black hole and Pearadyne. Victor removes himself from his work and orders Vaughn to do whatever it takes to get the journal. Vaughn questions if that might be stealing but Victor justifies that what happened to him was not fair and that it was stolen from him.

“No, son. Stealing is having your life’s work taken in one horrendous laboratory explosion. This is not stealing. I’m just trying to get back what is mine. And what one day will be yours.” – Victor to Vaughn.

At the grounds of Blake Holsey High, Marshall tries to tell Josie and Lucas about that he understands why Vaughn ignored him but not why Josie and Lucas did. Josie and Lucas, however, are caught up in a handheld video game and don’t pay any attention to Marshall. Marshall tries to tell them that he feels ignored but Josie gives the excuse that that their playing a game at the moment. Josie and Lucas continue to take turns competing at the game while Marshall attempts to get their attention.

"I was thinking about asking Principal Durst to the spring dance next month." – Marshal trying to get Josie and Lucas's attention.

Just then, Principal Durst walks up, startling Marshall. Principal Durst, however, scolds Josie and Lucas that playing video games is against the rules, she has no interest in what Marshall was saying. Marshall tries to tell her that he was playing as well but Principal Durst does not listen to him. She takes the game from them and puts them in detention.

“I would hardy call 32 megs of flash ROM powered by 400 megahertz a game.” – Lucas.
“And I could hot sink this and with my USB to access the net for research purposes.” – Josie.
"I don’t know what language you two are speaking but you can explain it all in detention.” – Principal Durst to Josie and Lucas.

Meanwhile, Vaughn sneaks into Corrine’s and Josie’s room. He easily identifies which side belongs to who because of how clean Corrine’s side is and how messy Josie’s side is. Sifting through Josie’s things on her bed, Vaughn looks under her pillow and finds the journal. He reads through the journal and comes across Josie’s entry about her journey back in time. Vaughn walks out of the room, not noticing that he is being watched by the Janitor.

"Could Corrine's snoring be any louder?" – Vaughn reading Josie's journal

"I wonder what Vaughn's secret is. Marshall says it's jell, but I think it's moose." – Vaughn reading Josie's journal

In Science class, Vaughn arrives late due to his side trip. Marshall knows the answer to Professor Zackary’s question but Professor Zackary says that he knows Marshall knows the answer and looks for another person to answer the question. After asking Josie, Corrine, and Lucas, none of whom know the answer, Professor Zackary calls on Vaughn. Vaughn states that he has nothing which ironically is the correct answer. Marshall is annoyed.
After class, Marshall walks in on Lucas, Josie, and Corrine who have just finished watching a movie. Josie tells him that they are just about to watch the film, “Attack of the Prep School Piranhas,” again. Marshall is angered because it took him 6 month to track down the movie and he told them to wait for him before they watch it. Marshall rants about how they act like they don’t see him. Lucas, Josie, and Corrine walk out of the room while Marshall’s back is turned. Annoyed, Marshall sits on the couch, thinking that if no one sees him it is like he is not even there. Marshall’s body then starts to disappear and reappear. Seeing that, Marshall gets up and approaches a mirror in the room. In the mirror, he watches himself disappear completely.

“Sure, maybe if I was Mr. Popularity, Vaughn Pearson, I know nothing with my smooth talking and intentionally messy hair.” – Marshall.

Lucas walks past two other boys in the hall. After Lucas passes them, the books in one of the boy’s hands fall to the floor. Both boys look at Lucas. Lucas denying doing it but the boy threatens Lucas when the other boy points out a teacher approaching them. Both boys pick up the books and walk on while Lucas continues on his way. Lucas’s jacket is then swiped from his hands and then thrown in his face. Lucas is frightened at who did that when Marshall tells Lucas that he in invisible. Marshall is fascinated but Lucas says that at Blake Hole High, good things like these tend to turn bad and tells Marshall that they need to tell Professor Z. Lucas puts his arm around Marshall’s shoulder and guides him to Professor Zachary’s office, walking past Principal Durst in the hall. Principal Durst appears puzzled by the sight but walks on.
Meanwhile, Josie looks for her journal but can't find it.
In Professor Zachary’s office, Lucas telling Professor Zachary that Marshall is invisible. Corrine is also present. Both look to the left of Lucas, where Lucas claims Marshall is. Lucas tells Marshall to say something but nothing happens. Professor Zachary does not believe Lucas and he talks off his glasses, a bit annoyed, and tells Lucas that he is busy helping Corrine. Just then, something brushes Professor Zachary’s hair and takes his glasses out of his hand. Getting back his glasses, Professor Zachary is astonished. Corrine looks around with a troubled look.

“This is amazing. If I didn’t not see it with my own eyes I wouldn’t believe it.” – Professor Zachary.

Professor Zachary gets up and starts walking around the room, feeling for Marshall. Corrine states that if they can’t see him, something must have happened to the way Marshall’s body reflects light. Lucas wonders if Marshall’s body still radiates off heat. Professor Zachary tells Marshall that they need to find a way to change Marshall back and asks Marshall to stay in the office but Marshall walks out.

“This is amazing. I love teaching here.” – Professor Zachary.

In Principal Durst’s office, Principal Durst is speaking some motivational words to a mirror. Marshall sneaks into the room and takes the handheld game device that Principal Durst took from Josie and Lucas earlier that day.

“I’m the best friend I have. I’m a rich treasure. I’m a deserving human being. I’m winning in the race of life. I’m an asset to these ungrateful students." – Principal Durst to the mirror.

Outside, Corrine is looking for Marshall. She approaches the trees and Lucas jumps down from one of them wearing binoculars. He tells her that they are infrared goggles which are supposed to track heat and turn it into visible light. Marshall come sup to Lucas and Corrine, enabling Lucas to see that the infrared goggles work. Marshall returns Lucas’s video game and then runs off.
Vaughn is listening to music and messing with his hair up in his room. Marshall is also in the room. He sees Vaughn drink chocolate sauce right out of the bottle, he switches the positions of the chocolate sauce bottle and the hair gel while Vaughn isn’t looking. Vaughn grabs the chocolate sauce and pours it in his hair, without looking. Feeling something wrong, Vaughn checks the mirror and realizes his mistake. At that moment, Vaughn receives a phone call from his father, telling Vaughn to bring over the journal. Vaughn says he is having second thoughts but his father doesn’t care. We only hear Vaughn’s side of the conversation.
Downstairs, Josie is combing the main hallway for Marshall. Marshall calls her over to his position. Trapping Marshall, she accuses Marshall of stealing her journal because no one saw anyone go into her room and Marshall happens to be invisible, which is proof enough for her. Marshall denies taking it but has an idea who did. Marshall rushes off, escaping Josie. Principal Durst walks down the stairs, seeing Josie yelling at air. She appears like she doesn’t know what to say.

“Look, Marshall, rumor has it you’re invisible. Tough break.” – Josie to Marshall.

“I would never touch your journal, I’m scared of you, remember?” –Marshall to Josie.

At Pearson mansion, Victor is angered that Vaughn does not have the journal. Vaughn does not know what happened to it. He had it one moment but not it is gone. Victor tells him to get the journal and walks out of the room. Vaughn asks why Victor doesn’t ask Josie for the information but Victor replies that there are things that Vaughn doesn’t, and may never, understand.

“You’ve failed me, son. And wash that chocolate out of your hair!” – Victor to Vaughn.

In the science room, Josie, Corrine, Lucas, and Professor Zachary are talking about their favorite Marshall moment. Corrine brings up the time Marshall dressed up as Principal Durst for Halloween. Lucas remembers the time Marshall’s own genetically engineered soap turned his skin green. Professor Zachary tells them about when Marshall thought the unit of measure for Energy was the Newton and not the Joule, which no one else finds funny. Josie is sorry for accusing Marshall of taking her journal when he walks in. Marshall is stunned that they are talking about him. They want him to return to normal. Marshall tells them he’d like to as well but doesn’t know how. He tries to pick up a book but finds he can’t. His hand goes through the book. Josie looks through the infrared goggles and sees that he the amount of heat he is radiating is diminishing. Professor Zachary figures his molecular structure is breaking down. They figure that since this whole thing started when Marshall thought he was not wanted, if they make Marshall see that he is noticed, he will come back.
They all begin telling Marshall what they like about him but that does not work, Marshall is still fading. Professor Zachary points out that that it is Marshall himself that needs to see himself. Focusing on that, Marshall becomes visible again.

“I see my good side, I see my bad side. I see all of me. You see me, I see me. I see my foot…I see my foot!” – Marshall.

Marshall finally gets the chance to see the movie, with Lucas and Josie. Vaughn walks in and Josie immediately accuses him of taking it. Vaughn begins to panic when Marshall defends Vaughn, telling Josie that she has practically accused the entire school. Josie then shifts the blame to Lucas, remembering that she hasn’t questioned him yet. Corrine walks in with Josie’s journal, saying that it was on her side of the room, instead of Josie’s. Corrine and Josie begin arguing about how this is a reason for Josie to be more organized and Marshall and Lucas walk out of the room, followed by Vaughn. Vaughn thanks Marshall for covering for him and Marshall tells Vaughn that he doesn’t know if Vaughn took the journal or not but is giving Vaughn the benefit of the doubt. Josie tells Corrine that there are pages missing. The pages were concerned with Josie’s journey to Pearadyne Labs 15 years ago.

“Besides, what would you want with her journal?” – Marshall to Vaughn.

The Janitor, sitting in his residence, is taking pictures of pieces of papers.

    Personal thoughts:
I didn't really like this episode. It was good but it just didn't appeal to me.
The part where Principal Durst is speaking to herself is big (and totally funny). This episode establishes that the Janitor is up to something.
