The clock reads 6:30am, Josie is up and ready for the day. She is listening to music on her walkman and is dancing to it (if you can all it dancing). Corrine wakes up to the noise and states that Josie is up early. Josie, turning off the music, corrects Corrine, saying that it is actually Corrine who has slept in. 6:30 was when Josie unplugged Corrine’s clock. The correct time is really past 8am. Josie forgot to plug the clock back in. Corrine tells Josie that she wanted to be up at 6:30 to study. Josie tells her that class will be starting soon and she should hurry. Corrine gathers up her books and runs out of the room, forgetting to change out of her pajamas. When she tries to go back into her room, she finds the door is locked.

"Did the brain fairy come and take yours during the night?" – Corrine to Josie

Corrine races down the stairs as the bell rings. She glides by the remaining lurkers in the hallway but as she turns the corner she collides with Principal Durst, causing her to drop all of her folders. Corrine tries to explain her morning but Principal Durst seems annoyed. After picking up the folders for Principal Durst, Corrine rushes to class.

“I am so sorry Principal Durst.” – Corrine to Principal Durst.
“I should think so. Running in the halls and late for class? I expected better of you.”– Principal Durst.

Professor Zachary tells Corrine that she is late and Lucas and Marshall tease her about it. Corrine tells Vaughn that he needs to meet her for their midterm project since he has missed the last two sessions. Professor Zachary announces a pop quiz. All of the class moans. However, Corrine does not have a pencil. Josie offers one to her and Corrine sees her [Corrine’s] name on it. Corrine asks Josie why she has a pencil with her name on it. Josie claims to have found it on the floor and Corrine scolds Josie. Professor Zachary tells Corrine that if she persists in talking he will have to find an alternate place for her to take the test.

“It must be the full moon. It affects people’s moods.” – Lucas.

In Principal Durst’s office, Principal Durst tells Corrine that she is surprised that Corrine has ended up where she is. With Corrine’s excellent record, she is going to let Corrine go but tells her that next time will result in a detention. A phone call comes in and Principal Durst leaves the room for a moment. Corrine notices a small statue of a monkey on Principal Durst’s deck and tries to touch it. She instead pushes it off the desk and it breaks. Quickly, Corrine tries pushing the fragments under a run that the desk is on. Principal Durst walks back into the room and tells Corrine she may leave. Right after Corrine’s departure, a scream is heard from Principal Durst in her office.
Outside, Lucas comes up to the table where Corrine is sitting. She has been there for most of the time after getting out of Principal Durst’s office. He tells her not to laugh at Marshall’s new hairstyle. When Marshall walks up, however, Corrine fails to remember Lucas’s advice and laughs at Marshall. Marshall and Lucas both walk away, disappointed with Corrine as Vaughn walks up. Vaughn asks her where she was since they were supposed to meet to work on the midterm project but Corrine forgot about it. Vaughn tells her that he completed it himself and handed it in.

““What? My grade depends on that!” – Corrine to Vaughn.

Panicking, Corrine goes back into Professor Zachary’s classroom. Coming back out with the project, she is caught in the act by Principal Durst who asks Corrine to explain herself. Principal Durst is shocked to hear that Corrine is stealing a midterm paper, even though it is her own. When she asks why Corrine didn’t do her share of the work and Corrine’s answer is unsatisfactory, that she missed the work session, Principal Durst gives Corrine a detention.

“You stole a midterm paper off your teacher’s desk?” – Principal Durst to Corrine.

That night, Josie looks up at the full moon. Corrine is moping. She blames Josie for unplugging her alarm clock and ruining her life. Josie says that she didn’t take Corrine’s pen. Corrine warns Josie to stay away from her clock.
The next morning, the clock reads 6:30am. Josie is listening to music and dancing to it. Corrine asks her that she is up early again. Josie corrects Corrine by telling her that it is Corrine who is actually up late. The time is past 8am. Josie unplugged the clock and didn’t plug it back in. Josie tells Corrine to hurry up or she’ll be late. Corrine gathers her books and rushes out of the room, forgetting to change out of her pajamas. As Corrine goes back to the bedroom door, she recalls doing the same thing yesterday.

“No way, you were asleep when I got up. In fact, you were snoring.” – Josie to Corrine.

Corrine races through the hallway, dodging the remaining students in the hallway after the bell. Turning the corner, Corrine runs right into Principal Durst. This time, Corrine doesn’t stop to help her, saying that she is late.
In Science, Professor Zachary is handing out a pop quiz. Corrine does not have a pencil and Josie lends Corrine a pencil, one with Corrine’s name on it.

“That’s right, a pop quiz.” – Professor Zachary.

Corrine walks out of Principal Durst’s office. A scream is heard from Principal Durst inside of her office.
Outside at the tables, Corrine is laughing at Marshall’s new hairstyle. She tries to tell him that it looks alright but the effort is futile.

“Real sensitive, Corrine.” – Lucas to Corrine.

Vaughn comes walking up and Corrine remembers about the project she forgot to help him on.

"Oh no, I forgot you again?” – Corrine to Vaughn.

Coming out of Professor Zachary’s classroom, Principal Durst catches her. Corrine immediately hands the folder to Principal Durst.

“I’ll be going to detention now.” – Corrine to Principal Durst.

That night, Corrine asks Josie if she has ever had one of those days that seem to repeat itself. Josie says she has not. Corrine tells Josie not to touch her alarm clock.
Morning has come and Josie is dancing to her music. She tells Corrine that she’s going to be late. Corrine shrugs it off, she already knows. Coasting down the halls, Corrine dodges the students but then slows down for Principal Durst. This time, Principal Durst turns the corner. They both wait for each other to pass in the hallway, trying to give each other a chance. Figuring the other is waiting for the other, both move at the same time and collide. Both of their papers get dropped on the floor.
Corrine comes into class late and just tells Professor Zachary what is going to happen, everyone groans when she releases the news of the pop quiz, and then proceeds directly out to Principal Durst’s office. Lucas, Marshall, and Vaughn try to think about what just transpired. Professor Zachary thinks to himself but them moves on.

“I know I’m late. I know there’s a pop quiz. I know I’m not supposed to know that because it takes the pop out of it. I know I don’t have a pencil. I know Josie stole my pencil. I know Lucas has some crazy idea about the full moon affecting my mood which now I think isn’t so crazy. I know I’m out of line and I know I’m going to Principal Durst’s office right now.” – Corrine.

The morning has come. Josie is dancing to her music. Corrine has slept in her uniform this time. She gets out of bed and proceeds onto her day.

“Thanks for letting me sleep in Josie. I’m going to be late anyway.” – Corrine to Josie.

Down the stairs, Corrine tells Vaughn that she won’t be at the study session and to finish the project and hand it in himself.
Through the hallway, Corrine still manages to collide with Principal Durst. In science club, Marshall figures that Corrine is caught in a time loop. Refreshing what they know about gravity, the Gravity around Corrine is much stronger than normal causing time to pass slower for her. Vaughn figures it could even result in that Corrine just repeats the same day over and over.

“A time loop makes sense. As much sense as a time loop makes.” – Josie.

Walking outside, Lucas tells Corrine that her day does not sound that bad. Marshall confesses that everyday in his life is much worse than hers. Josie tells Corrine that the problem is probably that Corrine tries to make things perfect which puts a lot more weight on her shoulders. Marshall says that the only problem with trying to make things go your way is that sometimes they don’t.

"It's bad enough having to live the same day over and over again, but I can't even get that same day right." – Corrine.

That night, Josie talks to Corrine. Corrine wonders why the occurrence is only happening to her. Josie figures it is because it needs to. She tells Corrine to accept the worst day of her life as what it is and move on. Let is be perfect just the way it was.

“You up for another experiment?” – Josie to Corrine.
“Why not? I could always not do it the next time you ask me tomorrow.” – Corrine to Josie.

Morning comes again and Corrine awakes to Josie’s music. She remembers Josie’s advice about accepting the day as it is.
Corrine runs down the hallway and collides with Principal Durst. Realizing Corrine will be late, Principal Durst tells Corrine to go to class and she’ll pick up the mess herself. Corrine apologizes that she is going to break the statue on Principal Durst’s desk later in the day and walks off. Principal Durst is a bit confused by what Corrine has said.

"I wish someone would break that statue. I've hated it ever since Mr. Pearson gave it to me. I'd scream in delight, I’d imagine." – Principal Durst to herself.

In science, Josie gives Corrine a pencil, which is Corrine’s pencil. Outside, Corrine apologizes to Marshall for laughing at his hair. She explains that she liked the way his hair was before but it is alright if he likes it that way now.

“Well, at least she apologized for laughing at me, Lucas.” – Marshall to Lucas.

Vaughn comes up to the table inquiring where Corrine was and that he finished the project and turned it in himself. Corrine thanks him.
Morning comes again. The clock reads 6:31am. Corrine awakes to Josie’s music. Corrine asks if Josie unplugged her clock again. Josie replies that she didn’t, not after what Corrine said the day before. Corrine realizes that the day has moved on to the next, tomorrow has come. She realizes that the previous day was not so bad after all.

“It’s 6:30. I just wanted to see what it was like to get up early two days in a row. It sucks.” – Josie to Corrine.

That night, Corrine talks to Josie. She thanks Josie for talking to her last night. Josie has no memory of the conversation. Josie tells Corrine that she has been thinking about how time and gravity around the school is messed up and Corrine acknowledges that she believes it is only the beginning.

    Episode notes:

    • There is no indication in the episode that the day is a Thursday. You only know because of the episode title.

    Personal thoughts:
Here we learn about Corrine. It is a funny episode but the idea of a repeating day is so cliché in any series now. It just doesn't appeal to me when trying to think out the time travel aspect of it. I loved the irony about how Principal Durst didn't like the statue and that Lucas did not actually apoligize to Marshall about laughing at his hair, like Corrine had done.
