In Memory of Marion Zimmer Bradley
June 3rd, 1930 to September 25th, 1999

Born in Albany NY June 3rd 1930. Married Robert Bradley in 1949. In 1949 also got her frist sale in a fiction contest, for Fantastic/AmazingStories. IIn 1952 she sold her frist professional short story to Vortex Science Fiction. She has written everything from Science Fiction to Gothic, she is most know for her Darkover and Avalon series. The 1st Darkover novel was printed in 1958 it was published in Amazing Science Fiction Stories and is called The Planet Savers. And in 1983 The Mists of Avalon came out. ;She did many more writtings too many to list here, and she had a fantasy magazine. She lived a life taking others to many wonderful worlds, making those worlds real to her readers, sharing a bit of herself in her works. She was a wonderful woman who will be missed and loved forever. I myself only have gotton to read six of her books, but I fell in love with them and they have been the only books I have read cover to cover in six years. I loved them so much my husband found a way to find her phone number and he called but she was not there so he left a message. We got a phone call later on telling us MZB health wise was doing poorly and could not talk on the phone herself, but they had put something in the mail for me. I was so over joyed. I got in the mail a bookmark, an order form for her magazine, a list of all her books and ones being made almost ready to be released, and the best thing her audgraph. It is here with me still and means so much to me. I did a short writting in her memory for she touched my life in a big way and she will be missed greatly. I am adding it to this page, so she may always live on.

In loving memory of Marion Zimmer Bradley. Her books moved my heart and took my soul to places beyond my wildest dreams. I fell in love with the worlds she took me, to visit in her books. I felt like I was really there, watching everything, being a part of everything, I could see, smell, touch, and taste everything in her worlds. She made everything so clear it was easy to really be there. She helped open my mind more than it ever could have been otherwise. She took me to her worlds and helped me make them mine as well. She was a gracious hostess, a wonderful gide and a caring friend, all that came across to me just in her books. She helped you become a part of the story and made it clear for you to understand everything.

To :A friend who will be missed deeply, Marion, Thank you for shareing your worlds and dreams with us. You shall be greatly missed and loved. You will always live on in my heart and in your stories. May the God and Goddess keep you safe and sound. You changed my life and touched my soul. Thank you. I wish the best for your family and freinds and may the God and Goddess give them strenth and love. Merry part till we meet again Blessed Be, my friend,
-Blazer
