Uncommon species

1.Galeodea echinophora- Spiny bonnet-  65 mm high.
This species lives all around the Tunisian coasts on mud bottoms of more than 50 m depth. This specimen was collected near Zembra islands (northwest part of  Tunis gulf).
 

 2- Cymatium corrugatum - Corrugated triton - 70 mm high.
This occidental Mediterranean species was collected near Zembra islands.
 

3-Phalium granulatum- Grooved helmet - 65 mm high.
This "Canarian species" considerated as rare in Mediterranea is relatively frequent all along the northern Tunisian coasts where it lives  on sandy bottoms  between 30 and 70 m depth. This specimen collected in the Tunis gulf has  global  form and coloration typical of the Sicilian species.
