Missakawan Park, Wat Phra Chetuphon

A Chinese style pavilion in the East

Missakawan Park is a big park decorative plants and a Chinese style pavilion in the East. Located in this park is one important Sri Maha Pho tree (Assattapreuk Tree) which was brought from Lanka (Ceylon) in the reign of King Rama IV. The mural painting in the pavilion depicts scenes from "Sam Kok", a famous Chinese literature.
