Phra Chedi Rai

Phra Chedi Rai (left and middle) and Single-Based Chedi (right)

Phra Chedi Rai surrounding the cloisters you can see a great number of 71 small pagodas in a similar style to that of the single-based chedi. Built during the reign of King Rama III, the purpose of these pagodas was for keeping ashes of royal descendants.
