A jungle jaunt on jumbos
For many tourists, the highlight of their visit to the Chiang Dao centre is a ride on an elephant. They can take either a one-hour elephant safari tour into the surrounding tropical rainforest, or a one-and-half hour trek to a Lisu hilltribe village.
