Stud
Service
I do offer limited stud service to qualified queens. Some of the requirements are:
- Queen MUST be TICA and/or UFO registered
- Queen MUST be a minimum of Breeder Quality (Absolutly NO pet quality or unregistered queens).
- Queen MUST be a recognized color and hair length (exceptions can be made for breeders working with other colors, proof must be shown that you have an active intrest in this color/hair length though).
- Queen MUST have a Current FeLV/FIV negative test (and must have a number and permission to contact the vet who preformed the test)
- All cats in the cattery with the queen MUST be FeLV/FIV negative (proof may be required)
- Queen MAY be quarantined at my premise for a minimum of 2 weeks (maximum of 4).
- Queen MUST have a 5 generation pedigree (TICA certified preferred but not required)
- All kittens from any stud service must be sold responsibly (Absolutely NO Pet stores, kitten mills, research facilities, etc)
- Queen must be current on a Feline Rhino/Calici/Panleuk Vaccine (3 in 1)
- Queen's owner MUST sign and adhere to EmberGlo's Stud Service Contract.
Stud service fee's can vary, normally they are a certain $ amount (anywhere from $500 to $800), or a pick of the litter kitten back, or depending on the stud selected a $ amount and a kitten back.
If the queen is not from a line I am interested in, or the queen is out of state, I prefer to use a monetary amount. This is because you can never get an accurate picture of what the kittens look like through photos.
Queen's owner is responsible for all shipping costs, and if queen is here for an extended amount of time a boarding fee may be charged.
