How you can help...... |
So, what can you do to help the badger in our area? Well there are four great ways that you can help us to protect the animal we love: 1) Become one of us! Join our group and become as little or as much involved as you wish to. At the very least you will recieve regular newsletters letting you know all the news, or you could get really stuck in and become involved in sett surveys, or feeding and caring for injured badgers. Simply fill out the membership form, and send it to the address listed on it. Sunscription is only £3.00 for adults, and £1.00 for children, and provides vital funds for helping to care for badgers in our area. 2) Let us know if you see an injured or dead badger. We are on 24 hour call-out and will always respond. The number to ring is Chris/Linda on either 01423 521567 or 0589 705000. It may also be useful to know that the RSPA number is 0990 555999. 3) Call us, along with the police and the RSPCA if you suspect anyone is digging for badgers. Do not approach any suspicious characters but if possible, take a vehicle registration number; it will be very helpful. 4) Call us if you need any advice on badger-related matters. |
